Well, that's certainly interesting. And thanks (to everyone) for the info. It always seemed like either (1) the amp would for some reason stop responding with TxEN or (2) the Orion was either missing

I have always run my Orion with keying loop 1 on and keying loop 2 off. I do not have anything hooked up to keying loop 2. I have not experienced the keying loop problem with my Orion and ACOM 1000.

Grant, I have been touching base with Carl about this for a long time. It is very strange that his and others, using an ACOM normally do not have this problem when using the Orion. Some other's have

I agree, especially given the proposed solution. I haven't experienced a problem losing transmit with my AL-1200 (internal QSK board). And I run with only loop #1 turned on. Of course, I still occas
