- Henry, It's not that critical. Go to Radio Shack and get a four conductor cable of whatever length is convenient for your 301 placement at your station. Try RS part number 278-777, $8.99 for 30 feet,

- Henry, I'm not sure it has to be shielded cable. I have a home brew version of the remote VFO and just used the 4 conductor flat type telephone cable. I've not had any rf problems even with an amp ru
