I have found that if anything needs a fan, it's the matching ten tec linear supply heat sink. but for either one, what works for me is a small cheap plastic 3" diameter 115 v. fan on a little table s

I always thought it interesting that the radio is rated at 100% duty cycle while the power supply is not. Yep, blow the power supply for extended operational demands. 73 Bob, K4TAX __________________

Hi to All This discussion makes me glad that I run my VI+ on a Drake PS7 (for TR7). It never runs hot. No, I did not butcher the PS7 cables. I made adapters. The VI+ power connectors certainly do see
