I may put up a Rhon 45G but prefer free standing with bracket to house at 8-10 feet and mounted in adequate cement. What level would be safe - 3 sections be ok? Is there a formula? __________________

Read the Rohn Catalogs/ instruction/installation sections.Everything you need to know is there. If you need a little more height use 55 or 65. You can park a truck on top that stuff! I love to climb

Had 40' of 25g, with bracket at 18'. Did 2x10's across three sets of rafter truss and all-thread, with nuts on each, out to bracket. Cheap house, told wife tower was holding it up. __________________

Gary, I remember seeing that information on the Rohn website not that long ago but IIRC 3 sections (2 above the bracket) would be too much for a full load rating. OTOH, you might get away with if if
