The easy way to limit the 45G + BPL45G load is to put the 45G section up first, then haul up the BPL45G top plate. That way the last 45G + BPL45G section isn't so heavy. I think the separate top plat

Rohn literature presents only one of many possible tower guying installations. I hesitate to speak for them, but they appear to want to present a typical tower for suppport of a business sized antenn

OK, but most of us dont try and overload 45G like you do :) IMHO, if your tower cant survive easily with the guys ten feet from the top, you should be using heavier tower anyway. But if you do that,

I'm not sure if there is a real engineering reason but for 45G and 55G wind loading specs, the figure on the charts is the NET capacity; Rohn has already deducted 8.0 sq.ft. for a commercial antenna

Info to ponder: A local fellow installed the top guys below the top of the 45G top section, at the horizontal brace (about 20") below the actual top. The tower is 160' and the upper half rotates. The

My next question would be how much mast did he have inside the section and how was it supported? IE, was it just stuck inside the top tube of a regular top section or was it supported below the tube
