OK...slightly off-topic...so perhaps reply off-list. My summer project for a small lot is an 80/160 vertical, using linear loading on 160. Think the G0BZF 40/80 vertical. Initial plan is for 60' radi

I would not use linear loading, not high Q enough and it will make it lossy compared to good base loading. If I had a 60ft radiator I would put on top loading to get it resonant on lets say 2.6 MHz.
