- I am undecided if I should use a 1/2 wave dipole @ 125 feet or a 1/4 wave vertical. i could raise the feedpoint of the vertical about 50 feet above the ground with a half dozen sloped radials. Any id

- Use em both, then keep the one that works the best. Probably your best bet will be to get an antenna switch and keep them both N4fx I am undecided if I should use a 1/2 wave dipole @ 125 feet or a 1/

- That is very good advice! On 40, I have a vertical dipole and a delta loop. Propagation changes, and what is louder on the dipole will be louder on the loop in a few minutes. 73 Tom W7WHY Use em both
