Has anybody tried using a 80m rotary dipole as a 160M RX ant ? Im thinking it may well be quieter than any dedicated RX ant I could come up with....on a city lot. There is no way I can get adequate s

I am currently experimenting with a full size (70 foot long) 40 meter dipole pair at 106 feet high for both 80 and 160 meter receiving. I previously successfully operated the dipoles as a "driven" ar

Yes Jim.... For the last 5 years I have used my 80m Yagi elements for a phased rx array on 160m. It has been my main 160m rx antenna most of the time. I use vacuum relays at each element to switch in
