- Hi, I'm homebrewing a foldover aluminum flagpole to hold one end of a dipole. I would like to build the tilt base out of aluminum also, and anchor it in concrete. I'm wondering if there is any reason

- Doug, Aluminum and concrete react with each other highly ... you will find that corrosive destruction will occur over a period of time. I suggest you get a couple of stainless steel U-beams [channel]
