I am using bow-and-arrow too with hardly any difficulties. I add weight at the tip of the arrow to avoid the problem with the arrow not being able to pull the fishing line through. You have to try it

I've done this a number of times. The trick is to keep the line out of the props. I accomplish this by using a light bamboo stick attached to the quadcopter and attaching it to the end of the fishing
