Maybe a Bencher Butternut Butterfly beam? Or Spiderbeam? Hexbeam? Problem is, you need boom length for gain and boom length is what's going to kill you on a lot that small. Spiderbeam Turning Radius:

You're right, the 3-el SteppIR looks big on a 42 ft lot. :) But so would any other small tribander. Don't rule out the 2-el SteppIR. I'd bet it will work as well as most small tribanders, and it's sm

A 2 element Steppir would be the way that I would go, and then if you did not get the neighbor complaints that you expect after a year or so, I would then add the third element. That's the great thin
