My self, I'd use what ever "bare" wire that was easily handled and not too fragile. I like bare, #16 just deep enough to be missed by the lawn care machinery. OTOH I've not had a good vertical up in

Brian Whatever size and type of wire you can scrounge will work fine. The only consideration for wire size is the traffic that will enter the radial field. Stranded or solid will both work well. Enam
