I want to make sure before I pull the trigger and place my order.  Will the Alpha Spid Big Rak fit ok in my US Tower HDX589 ? I'm sure the smaller Rak will fit but wanted to make sure the Big RAK wil

I went through this exercise with my HDX-5106. Same top section. IIRC, the Big Rak will not fit. I'm not even sure the small one will. I have one of those on another tower. AFAIK, only M2/Orion rotor

Bob I was told that the Big RAK would fit in my HDX572 but it would stick out. If you lower the tower all the way it will hit the top of the second section. I went with an M2 Orion 2800 with a Green

Hi Steve, I helped a local ham install his M2 Orion a few years ago.  Certainly a brute !  He had problems with the stock mast clamp slipping and we switched to the K7NV mast clamp and no more issues
