I just recently purchased a 40-2CD 40 meter antenna. I would like to replace the mast to boom mounting plate. The O.D. of the boom is 2 1/8 inches. Any suggestions? 73's Scott N2WF __________________

Expanding on the previous post I made. The boom to mast clamp is at its most basic as a flat plate with U-bolts (2 to fit the mast and 2 to fit the boom). Don't use dead soft Aluminum, but rather som
