- Umm, you want to use regular straight rod - not J bolts. How do you intend to install the J hooks in the concrete? J-bolts are used when you're going to be pouring the concrete around them - not putt

- I'm sure there are lots of suitable materials - I'm not familiar with the ones you mentioned. I guess the point is that just about anything will work. There's no way for the bolts to pull out anyway
