a coupla years ago W1CW made an awesome looking vertical out of a cage of wires which were around rings of PVC pipe.....he took a length of PVC pipe and cut it on the saw into a ton of short pieces..

Hi Paul, I don't understand why there is a minimum diameter Paul. A number 16 wire has more bandwidth than a number 20, and a number 8 more than a number 16. A six inch diameter cage will be broader
