I have the same tower. I block it with the largest wooden pieces I can jam through so there is as little play as possible. You must make sure every section is blocked and can't move. Then I lower it

Me again, How do you guys with the motorized towers block your towers ? I am thinking of using 1 inch water pipe. And where do you block it ? Since it telescopes, do you you put blocking through ever

I had a Crank up tower(54 ft) for a while and I did not trust the thing for climbing. I put the blocks in that you guys are talking about but just the smallest slip can be disastrous to your fingers

Lower the tower until the cable goes slack so you know it is resting on the Bar or 2x4 etc. Even a drop of 1/2" will take your toes off! Mike, K6BR You should stick a bar, pipe, or 2x4 thru the tower
