Also don't use a staple gun! I had some eager friends at a local non-profit who took it on themselves to install CAT-5 Ethernet in the building using this method. A world of trouble at 100 Mbit/s...

They make non-crushing attachments for CAT-5. There is a plastic U shaped clip with 2 little nails. You pound the nails in, but the CAT-5 is only squeezed, not crushed. Rick N6RK ____________________
