Look for either DC-4 or DC-5 Dielectric grease which was designed specifically for use in weatherproofing connectors. IIRC the original DC-4 was used to seal the spark plugs on B17s at high altitude.

A note of caution when sealing/flooding connectors in coax. FLOOD ONLY ONE END! Flooding each end of a piece of coax does not let the coax breathe in the normal manner. Heating in the day time will b
