It "The Tree" looks like the world's largest dummy load! Fred All: I have a 6M beam that is showing high SWR (10:1). I checked each connector to the antenna by disconnecting and placing a dummy load.

Scott, I might have missed this but what BRAND of antenna is this? If it is an M2, take a very hard look at the gamma match. The one on my 7ele is of 72ohm cable. The cable was cut and "F" connectors

It is pretty clear that my Heathkit Dummy load is Dead. I need to measure my FTDX-101MP output on 6M (<200w) just to verify it is working as it should, before I start tearing into my 5el 6M beam inst

You can measure the load with an ohmmeter.  If it's open or measures too high, check the four screws that center the bottom of the load resistor in the shield for tightness. Wes  N7WS John Owens - N7
