I have used them for many years without any problems. On a 105' of Rohn 25 the top two sets of guys start out with 20' rods at the tower and lower two sets of guys start with the small ones..about 18

For what reasons might one select fiber rods & steel guys vs Phillystran? (Both eliminate the shunt-feed problem and the resonance problem with nearby wire antennas.) Any concern that the fiber rods
