I'm looking for anyone who has experiences to relate replacing the internal cables on a Force-12 LPT-1242 tower. Thank you, Leigh/WA5ZNU _______________________________________________ ______________
Hi Leigh, I also have a Low Profile Tower. I'd like to see whatever you find out (assuming it isn't posted on the reflector) 73 de Terry KK6T _______________________________________________ _________

This messages provides some, but not all, details about the cable replacement process for a Force-12 LPT-1242. As the cables are internal to the structure, it's an involved operation. I had JV K6JHU
Leigh, You said you replaced with 1/8". Why did you go to a smaller size then the 3/16"? Skip, KJ6Y _Communications Service Co_ (http://www.communicationsserviceco.com/) 22712 Califa St Woodland Hill

Skip, Thanks for pointing out my mistake in saying 3/16". The new cable is 1/8" and is clearly thicker when compared. The old cable must have been something like 3/32. Leigh/WA5ZNU __________________
