Have you looked at the StepIR 3 or 4 elem? Much better antenna. I just put up a 4 elem and I can't believe the performance. I think the 3 elem is about the some price and has a smaller foot print and

Bill, I run a 5BA at 73 ft. Use a coax switch to handle the three feed lines. It works as advertised with no moving parts (except the rotator). I'd buy another if I ever needed to. __________________

They actually touch? Wow - didn't realize some of the elements were _that_ close. F-12 sleeves plus aggressive taper does result in SWR wiggles, but that must be some serious breeze as even on C-3E/A
