Bill, Look no further. I have had both antennas up. The EF420 is a fragile antenna, prone to mechanical failure. It is hard to tune, I never got mine to work right. After three efforts at repair with

Something to consider. I have the Force 12 C36XR and I believe it is just as effective on 40 as the Cushcraft and there is no interaction problems on the other bands. basically the antenna is the C19
