I am not sure what type of sensor the Alpa Spid uses. I recently had a potentiometer in a TIC ring get very tight and all of a sudden that antenna was not pointing where the controller said it was. I

I had a similar problem with a prop pitch rotator. If it continues to loose calibration, you can try changing the reed switch. If that does not work, I am sure that W2FU can help you with the control

Andy I have the the Alfa Spid AZ EL satellite rotator and it will lose settings with a power outage. I have learned to park it at 0 degrees when I'm done. That way if there is an outage I'm parked at
