We don't even use copper clad anymore on our cell sites we go thru so many on our rings. We just use 10' steel with cad shots. We still get under 5 ohms on the meggar test. 73 Dave n4zkf Happy New Ye

Dave, I don't think I have ever seen a solid copper ground rod. I have seen, and driven lots of copper coated steel ground rods. They are available at Lowe's. They are 5/8" X 8" and the item # at my
