I use a trucker's knot....could be the same as the tautline hitch....allows tightning and adjusting of the guy rope. No need for turnbuckles and the like. I also use a rope thimble on the earth ancho

If the anchors are just stakes in the ground use a pipe hitch. That is 3 turns around the stake with 2 half hitches. That knot would prevent the rope from slipping up or down the stake and is easy to
