I'll try this again. For some reason, it was "not processed" yesterday??? Not sure what that means, but I never saw it come through. I apologize if this is a repeat. Can any of you using the HDX-555

Yes, you need to start with the Armstrong version and see how hard it is. How "hard" it is to crank up a given tower depends on what kind shape you are in and other variables, like ergonomics of the

Can any of you using the HDX-555 tower give me some idea how difficult the manual version is to raise and lower, approximate time it takes to do so, etc? Don; It seems, to me, to be a function of the

Thanks to all for the comments on your crankup towers. Am mulling over pricing, as the split was nearly 50-50, manual vs motorized, hi. Also learned from other threads on the reflector that I'll not

Does anyone know what size the nut is that is welded to the side of the sleeve in the top of the HDX-555? It may be that they welded on what ever they got a deal on that week, I don't know. My mast,

Hello all, I have recently ordered the tower base and bolts for the HDX-555 and am waiting. The man at Texas towers said only 20 percent of the people who order the HDX-555 also order the motor to cr

I got mine used so the price was much less than new but it has the motor drive and I can't imagine cranking it up and down as often as I do without the motor, of course my area is surrounded by wind

I suspect that 80% of the folks who order this tower don't crank it up and down very often. I've cranked similar towers up and down, and it is a good, asymmetric upper body workout - I'm in pretty go

It really scares me to crank a tower down/up without being in a position to watch it. That is a lot of metal moving and a lot of things could go wrong like the coax getting tangled in the wind and wr
