Buddy, Stainless Steel cable is the way to go!!!! You will not have to worry about it for a long time. Just go with one size bigger than the galvanized stuff.... _____________________________________

Yes and Yes, I have SS cable on both of my crank-up towers for many years and the cables still look and perform as new!!! Yes, the tower manufacture recommends SS cable and sells SS cable replacement
