I need a little help troubleshooting a Yaesu G800DXArotator.  The rotator is about 5 years old and has been working fineso far.  It has been used for turning astack of 6/2/432 yagis pretty light load

I'm not sure that you have definitively isolated the problem to the rotator. The controller motor drive circuit has current regulators in it so they may be confusing the measurements. I think connect

Are you sure the wires to the rotor are OK? One of these (there are only two that drive the motor) building up resistance could cause the same symptoms. Check the connectors especially. 73! Jack, W6F
