I had my house bracket sandwiched between a piece of treated 2x4. That way the bracket isn't bolted directly to the house and water shouldn't run down the wall Mark N1UK G3ZZM _______________________

ACtually, the stuff might be galvanized.. (the stuff I bought was), however, the galvanization might be iffy quality (particularly on the punched holes), and you might scratch it. A good paint job is
