Alan, The tower that I found is a Tashjian (formerly Tri-Ex) WT-51. It is a crank-up , tilt-over, 51 ft. tower. It is rated at 10 sq. ft. @ 70 mph. I had to get it rated for the So. Florida Building

Can't find anything about Sky Needles except that they were made by Tri-Ex, which is no more. I understand that Tashjian took over Tri-Ex but was getting rotten reviews, and I can't find "Sky Needle"

Yes, US Tower WILL make a heavy duty version of the MA-550. I believe they quoted me an extra $1000 to do it. and Kelly Johnson _______________________________________________ See: http://www.mscompu

Many states/counties/cities have gone to IBC-2000 90 MPH wind calc requirements. US Towers is unable to provide these calcs to perspective buyers. Their specs are to UBC-97 70 MPH wind calcs. I tried

I just looked over the calcs on the HDX-5106 and I would estimate that it is not capable of 90 MPH cranked up (extrapolating from 50 and 70 MPH numbers). That is why IMHO they won't do the 90 MPH cal

Yes, but US Towers will not provide UBC-2000 90 MPH wind calcs for ANY tower they manufacture. Richard (Rick) Karlquist (N6RK) wrote: I just looked over the calcs on the HDX-5106 and I would estimate
