Can anyone confirm that the PT-3 gauge will measure 1/4" cable? http://www.loosco.com/index3.htm shows that it does, however, all of the vendor pages I found it on do not include 1/4". Thanks, Doug K

Not sure about the PT-3. I use the Loos No 90, Model B. It will measure 3/16, 7/32, 1/4, and 9/32. I have had the 90 for about 15 ys.My instruction sheet states that the No 91 will measure 3/32, 1/8

All of the vendor web pages that I found agree with this. I just got an email response directly from Loos and they say that it does measure 1/4" (just as their web page says). I suspect that there a

I think there are possibly two versions of the PT 3. I think mine is one of the newer ones. I received it as a gift for Christmas in 2002. It DOES handle 1/4 inch cable, as well as 9/32, 5/16 and 3/8

As a follow up, I received my PT-3 last week. It was indeed calibrated for 1/4" wire. Interestingly, the box had a sticker on it that says that it now includes 1/4", so it does look like the first PT
