- Hi Charlie, I was very shocked to find rust in my Rohn thrust bearing. It is a 1975 model, and when I took my tower down to move QTH's I found it took a wrench to turn the bearing. The ball bearings

- Charlie, I should have said in my last post that most people have never seen a thrust bearing in this rusted condition, if they recommend not lubing it. Perhaps the newer bearings have ball bearings
