- There are some "screwdriver" type antennas that might have this range. (it's a bit dicey, because if the coil and its housing are long enough to load the whip on 80, it might be too long to load on 1

- Is there a towing/tie-down lug? On my VW Passat, I fabricated a kind of "clamp" that had a bolt through the middle of the tow lug and essentially gripped the lug with a 1/4" steel plate on each side.
