As Never-Seez contains metallic compounds and comes in a number of mixes, can it be used in place of Noalox successfully? 73 Roger (K8RI) _______________________________________________ _____________

I would think so, but like the "joint compounds" for dissimilar metals, it comes with copper, zinc, aluminum, nickle, graphite, and ...let's see if I can even spell....Molybdenum disulphide. Spell ch

MoS2 is used in motorcycle chain lube, and probably bicycle lube, too. Small bottles available. Great stuff.. _______________________________________________ _________________________________________

Before I retired I purchased a whole carton of it (BR-5) in grease gun cartridges...at a buck per tube. That's a full size grease gun, not the little mini ones. 73 Roger (K8RI) ______________________

Might be a 'great' LUBE, but what about electrical/electronics use? Dissimilar metals play havoc with some joints. Had a bad time with 'birdies' due to one dissimilar joint where I had grounded a coa

I don't know that I'd use MoS2 on tower joints. It's more for high pressure mechanical moving things (e.g. drive chains on motorcycles). I think, because the Molybdenum is chemically bound to the sul

Never-Seez and "anti galvanic action" materials come with a number of formulations. "I think" you might need a thin piece of SS between the Aluminum and Copper in that case. I said "I think" because

I'd not use any lube on tower joints, or any material that would reduce the gripping action of the leg overlap as that would reduce the over all tower strength and put more load on the bolts, which c

I see no harm in lubricating the sections and it makes taking it apart much easier, especially when the tower is in a corrosive environment. John P40A <snip> I'd not use any lube on tower joints, or
