I got a big box of material from MFJ/Cushcraft and some hardware is missing but I can get that locally but the driven element for my old 402-CD (old version) broke off about 3 inches from the center

If you can get a hacksaw blade and a single style handle, insert and saw through the inside (not too deep) then break it out a piece at a time. It is slow and tedious, but I have done it. Dave, K4TO

Thanks for all the suggestions. I will try the spray and maybe the hot water and baking soda. I will also call Cushcraft. This antenna was made about 1982 so did not use MFJ fiberglass. Dave --Origin
