Hi Dale, I recall that thread well. I believe the consensus was to use butyl rubber tape topped off with Scotch 88 or Scotch 33 (the 88 is thicker). I use a couple of small black (uv resistant) cable

The Scotch 23 (self vulcanizing rubber) covered with Scotch 33 or 88 and then covered with Scotchkote is easily removed with a sharp knife. Slice through the three protective layers ... but not into
