- If the two verticals are separated a quarter wave length apart you will feed them in phase for broadside. For endfire you need to insert a 90-105° phasing line into one feed line. I did that on 80m a

- I did that for 40M back in the 70s --worky worky! Ends were primarily to Northwest/Southeast, and broadsides gave me a gain .. over a 1/4 sloper - towards eastern US, and the other way worked pretty
