That's ordinary 3-phase power. The High Leg Delta distribution that I described is 240V Delta. A pure delta configuration has no neutral. The High Leg Delta is different -- ONE side of the delta is c

Easier to make a clean DC Power supply, and besides, I think I've said I do have a machine shop - hence the sig below ;) Oh, and you can instant reverse a 3 phase motor without waiting for it to spin

At least you never need more then 6µF in your HV power supply and your mains is not dropping when the air condition or washing machine runs. And I wonder whether your mains breaker is less then 70A i

I'd like to have 3-phase power for any linear DC supply. The higher ripple frequency and tighter regulation are significant advantages while the distribution is no more difficult than traditional 12

I don't understand the economics of converting a residential service to 3-phase power (LOTS of money to a licensed electrician, plus building permit) versus a few extra bucks for a power supply in my

Electric heat and hot water is often done with 3 phase elements (even here in the US) because a 3 pole lower current switch is comparable in cost to a 2 pole higher current one (more current means bi
