I've used 9096-IIA (it comes from International Electronic Wire & Cable of Chicago) hundreds of times over about 20 years. I've never had to cut a single strand of the center conductor to fit a PL-25

Yes that center conductor is big. The connectors that work with this coax are Amphenol connectors UHF-182120 that I buy from The RF Connection. I use this coax a lot and have put on many connectors.

okay, I'll give em a try. Just put in an order @ Allied electronics. I went to amphenol's site, and their drawing shows an .125" ID for the pin, but oddly doesn't show the OD. The ones I have might b
