Steve K7LXC mentioned meat tenderizer as a bee sting treatment. I have found a felt tip pen like device that does the same thing. It has an ammonia smell to it and really stops the pain and swelling.

Jim: You might be referring to "Sting Kill" which has an ammonia smell. "Skeeter Stick" has lidocaine in it and I use it as a first choice because it seems to take the itch/pain away almost instantly
