Hi Scott, Congrats on being almost done. 9913F is good stuff, but I don't think given the relatively shorts runs you have that I'd use it except for the VHF antenna. Good RG 8 or equivalent (213) sho

You might also consider Time Microwave LM400UF (Texas Towers and others have it.) It's another semi-flexible foam-filled low-loss coax. Price is comparable or better than 9913F. I think the numbers s

filled... Jeez, go for the RG-213 and don't worry about it. We're talking -nths here. The bottom line in our area is "can the JA's tell the difference?". If they can't - why bother? For runs of 100 f

I have used the regular Belden 9913 (air core etc) taped along with four other RG-8 coax cables around the rotor (that is, via a loop to accomodate the truning rotor) for over eight years without fai

Scott: I have two runs. One is RG213 and it goes from back of rig up crankup to beam. No splices or connectors except at each end. This works well and never been a problem. The second run is 9913. It

Take a look at Times Wire LMR-400 as a replacement for 9913. It has solid dielectric, which avoids the water problems AND bend radius/impedance purtubations reported by some with 9913. They also have
