Going all over, looking for replacement bolts, checking into the properties of stainless, etc. I think we are reinventing the wheel here. Why not just call Rohn or whoever sells their parts and order

Yep. http://hillradio.net/ROHN%207-22-06.htm Hill Radio has them listed @ $1.60 per joint. In my experience Hill always has bolts in stock (unlike some of the more obscure Rohn parts). No affiliation

Most Bolt/fastener distributors will probably carry a grade 5, hot dipped galvanized bolt which I believe are what ROHN uses, but I agree. Why not just call ROHN and purchase what they use. It'll be

Rohn has never, as far as I know, used hot-dip galvanized bolts for their 25G towers. Galvanized bolts would have to have greater tolerances to accommodate the zinc, and that likely would weaken such
