A quick look at any of the major antenna manufacturer's catalogs or websites would reveal 40M dipoles made by Cushcraft, Force 12, HyGain, M2?, and possibly others. Some of them also make 30M or 30,

Tom, I think he is referring to a rotatable dipole that will do both 30 and 40 meters. Paul, WA6IBU

Yes I was looking for a dipole that would be for 30 and 40 meters. I checked most of the major manfacturers and didn't find anything. Thanks for the suggestions. Dave Pomeroy K7DNP South East Washing

Why not building one yourself Dave if you need a simple dipole ? 73's Jos on4kj -- Original Message -- From: "Dave Pomeroy" <dave@dpomeroy.com> To: <towertalk@contesting.com> Sent: Friday, October 25

Dave I don't know what else you might have in the air. If you have 20 M monobander or tribander you might try Gamma matching the boom on either 30 or 40 M and see how close the match is on the other

Hi David, I'm using the KLM 40M-1 at about 50' and it works very well. Cleve - KT7S

AH, yes, a dipole that covers BOTH 30 and 40M gets a bit tricky. The usual trap isolator would require a FULL SIZE dipole on 30M which is ~50 ft plus extensions for 40M, making it nearly full size on

Some 80m yagi designs use coils switched in at the center of the elements to switch resonance from the CW to the phone end of the band. Is it at least theoretically possible to do the same in order t

That's true--I have a homebrew 30/40, with the traps 24 ft from mast, and the total length is 60 ft. I started out building a 30M only, then decided it would be nice to have another 40M antenna mount

Boom matching as a rotary dipole on 30 and 40M works VERY WELL. I have used a matched 24 ft boom on a TH6 on both 30 and 40M (separately). It 'should' be possible to use two matching arms, one for 30

Hi Guys: I am interested in building a rotatable dipole similar to the cushcraft D3 for installation at my QTH. I do not care if it is actually built out of tubing, or made from PVC with a wire radia
