I think you would find the emery cloth used in this fashion would act more like a whole bunch of tiny bearings. it would grip, but not as tight as a plan metal to metal fitting. I've not seen the Or

Steve, FWIW, no clamp will hold in a outdoor changing environment for a long period of time. All metals expand and shrink with temperature variations. I have a Rohn 25.. 110 Ft with an old KLM 20 mtr
