The top cap on my AB577 tapers down to 2.75" OD, and with 1/2" wall thickness the ID is 1.75". A short piece of pipe will fit in the 1.75" center hole. Drill a hole thru the pipe to accept a 3.5" bol

The lower mast adapter for a Tailtwister (P/N 51467-10) will fit the AB-577 antenna adapter (stock number 5820-00-973-0200) just fine. Unfortunately, the lower mast adapter for the Ham-IV (etc.) ser

The lower adapter for the Yaesu G800 & G1000 also fit nicely on the top adapter. You can also slip a 1.5-inch (nominal ID) schedule 40 steel or aluminum pipe inside the adapter - very nice slip fit.

Joe, Hate to differ with you, but the Ham IV lower mast clamps will fit the AB-577 adapter. I have three AB-557s: a 75-footer with a Tailtwister and two 50-footers with Ham IVs. Both rotor models use

The 2.75 inch OD adaptor with a 1/2 inch wall thickness is more than likely the one that fits the AB-621 mast system; which is basically a "big brother" to the 577 system. The 621 uses 6 inch diamete
