There are small brass covers with rubber gaskets available from the mfrs of connectors. Usually come w a small chain which attaches to SO 239 mtg screw to prevent losing them when uncover the SO 239.

Just a suggestion... Take a PL259 male connector and cut the center pin off. Fill the whole body from the cable end with hot glue, let set and screw onto the SO239 for a weather tight protection. 73,
