Hi Rick, Thanks for your ideas... What about 90 degrees Galvanized Angle Iron for a 4 legs tower??? I think i can get some HD tubing from High Pressure boilers but not galvanized... 73....Douglas, CO
I would go with angle iron rather than tubing. Its much easier to cut and weld or bolt together than tubing is, especially if you do a 4 leg design because all the corners are square, you don't have
My suggestion of using tubing referred to a tubular tower like the MA-550, not to building a lattice tower out of tubing. Rick N6RK _______________________________________________ ___________________
Doug, A very old design here in the US is the "windmill tower" made from angle iron. It has 4 legs that are spread apart by 1/5th of the height of the tower. Google for more info. 73, Charlie, N0TT _
