The SteppIR antennas are great performers when working. I sincerely hope that SteppIR will use a "beefed up tape, better fitting element tubing, stronger ehu's, and protection for the drive circuit"

Come on guys, every antenna can be improved. The issue here is cost. How much more are you willing to pay? With any product for that matter. For what it does the SteppIR antennas are a great product.
